I would like to auto-complete a field. More specifically, the “Finance Book” in “Journal Entry”.
I want to populate it with the “Default Finance Book” in the “Company” master
Based on the link below that I found, I thought it would be simple …

But it does not work.
My process…
- Go to Journal Entry summary page
- Select “Customise Form” (top right)
- Go to the “Finance Book” field.
- In the “Fetch From” field I enter : Company.default_finance_book
- Update
- Reload
Site is in developer mode.
If someone could point out my error I would appreciate it.
