Country calling codes for phone number field

I was wondering if the ERPNext team or a developer would consider integrating the E.164 list of country calling codes to the phone number field. I think this would make the phone number field in the CRM or other parts of the ERP more international friendly and easier to understand for calling customers in the future.

For example if I have a customer in the US, one can pull down the prefix part of the phone number and select the correct country then allow the rest of the field to be the number.

Maybe we can have a Phone Number field on the client side.
