Company vs Primary Address in Sales Order

When creating a Sales Order there are fields under the heading Address and Contact for Company which then populates the Company Address. This is different from the Primary Address.

To which company does this refer? Is it the customer’s company? I am trying to understand what this pertains to and how it can be used. I notice that this address and company name are used in the print form by default.

Yes, assuming you’re on v14 and seeing the same fields I see, the “company” refers to the company initiating the Sales Order (i.e., your customer)
