Can't add lost opportunity reasons unless I fill in all mandatory fields

Hello, I’m creating a new opportunity with the status “Lost”. However, I can’t make the lost reason unless I fill in all the mandatory fields. Why is that even I’m not saving the document yet?

While I am not 100% sure, I believe when you press “Declare Lost”, it tries to save the opportunity document. Since the mentioned fields have not been filled out, it fails to do so.

Even if it was technically possible somehow, it seems more logical to first fill in and save the opportunity and only then declare it lost. There should also be practically no difference in efficiency for you.
