Can Suppliers also be listed Automatically as Manufacturers too?

Hello,

I’ve been setting up ERPNext and have a list of Suppliers. However, quite a few are also the Manufacturers of the products they sell.

Is there a setting/simple way to have one entry listed as both Supplier AND Manufacturer? Or do I have to keep two separate entries in each category?

The simplest way is to keep them as supplier and use the category as Manufacturer. In most cases you are going to use the same part number as the manufacturer.

The issue I have is trying to use the Supplier Quotation feature, as this sends to suppliers but needs a manufacturer and manufacturer’s part number. I’m not sure having the supplier in a list would help with this?
