Can not reorder fields in timesheet detail

Hi,

I’ve added a few custom fields in time sheet detail, unfortunately, I’m unable to reorder the fields.

I am able to reorder custom fields in other DocTypes, just not in timesheet detail.

I’ve checked the permission, all permission have been checked for my user role.

Have anyone experienced this too or have a fix for this?

I just tested it, I was able to move the custom field in Timesheet Detail. Please note that you will only be able to move custom fields only.

Hi Kanchan,

The fields that I’m trying to reorder are custom fields.

Here are the steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Add a new custom field to time sheet detail form. It can be any field type
  2. click the update button
  3. after updated, drag and drop the new custom field to be first field in the form.
  4. click the update button again.
  5. the new custom field will return to its original position before being drag and dropped. You also can not drag and drop it anymore.

I am not able to replicate it, can you check if there is any error or something on browser console.

What browser are you using? I sometimes experience this in Chrome. If you use Chrome, try Firefox

thank you for the tip. I was able to reorder the custom fields after using firefox.

The problem still persist when using chrome and ie11 though.

That is strange, since I tested it on Chrome, worked for me. Chrome version: Version 55.0.2883.95
