Can I share an app that I paid to be made on ERPNEXT, with the community?

Hi, I am pretty new in the community, and the company I work for is using ERPNEXT (pretty new too).
They paid to a person to program an app on ERPNEXT wich in the readme.md says

MIT

My boss told me to upload this app to contribute to the community,
So, my question is,

Can Upload this app normally? (without worries about legal issues to the company I work for.)

Providing that your boss said its ok and the fact that is MIT you should be file. Out of curiosity what does the app do?

I second @woakes070048’s comment. Can’t see any issue if a) your boss told you to share it and b) the license is MIT.
