Calender notications

how does notifications works in erp next ?
do i need to set up a cron or something ?
i dont get notifications for calender events, email etc…

so u mean by default erpnext has no notifications set up for email , meetings, tasks etc ?

bell icon notification n chat icon ?
anyone with knowledge here?

this is is useless guide… doesnt do anything… can u explain how notifications work…
i have used other crms and basic notifications are out of the box…

what such a poor UX erpnext guys ? why ?
