Bring the "Phone field" in customer DocType up

I am a beginner, I want customers to be added to the system directly, which is easy, but i see the phone field “Phone Number of customer” in the customer DocType is at the bottom and i am unable to bring it up since it does not show in the DocType edit mode.
Why is it so, what am i missing?

you can Customize your Doctype, field label’s, their positions.
Go to Setup > Customize > Customize Form

Select Doctype In your case > Customer

And just drag and drop field at adjutant position
