Attachment in Standard Reply

If we

  • add “Attachment Type” field in Standard reply doctype,
  • attach a file in that custom attachment type field while deriving a Standard Reply
  • Send a mail through such standard reply derived,
    then attached file will be displayed in mail sent?

We have created custom field in “Standard Reply” doctype. Can anyone suggest how to get the attached file in template (Standard Reply) while actually sending the mail using template (standard reply)?

This feature won’t be possible directly with the customize field or forms. Such a feature won’t be possible to be added out-of-the-box.

You might have to some external customization that you aim to add to Standard reply template.
