Hello, I have created a custom workflow and when I try to “Amend” a document which is submitted it is showing an error message - ““amended_from” field must be present to do an amendment”.
Please help me figure this out.

Hi,
Go to Customize Form > Select your DocType and then check if this particular field (as shown in the screenshot) is present.
If not, you will have to add it.
Note: the above screenshots are for the Sales Order doctype.
