I am unable to change “Basic Rate” in Quotation/Order/Invoice without messing with discount rate.
When I change “Basic Rate” to some rounded number, discount rate is calculated and automatically entered in Quotation/Order/Invoice Item. It is even worse that “Basic Rate” is changed according to calculated discount rate and “Float Precision”.
Can I have Quotation/Order/Invoice with plain-vanilla “Basic Rate”, different from “Price List Rate” and without mentioning discount?
Any hint?
Best,
Zoran

If you use Price Lists, then this is consistent behaviour.
If you don't use Price List i.e. don't specify Price List in the form, the Price List Rate won't be fetched and consequently, discount won't be calculated based on the difference.
If your aim is to make Price List Rate editable, you can do so from Selling > Selling Settings.
