This fits a use case for a possible erpnext implementation in a membership organisation (i think the Non Profit Module would be a start). Are there other examples of such implementations?
A user joins to become a member by paying an annual subscription, once registered they would receive a membership card - (the membership card could have a magnetic strip / chip / qrcode).
