Adding Operations/Material Cost to COGS post Production Order

Hi,
Sometimes the incremental cost may not be completely built into BOM. In such cases how can we add that cost to COGS

e.g:

  1. Lets say during production, it was found that a new operation (e.g. buffing has to be done in particular case) step and/or material (new blade -consumable) is required for same just for this sku. How can I attribute for same. Ideally by being able to add operation step and material in particular production order, should be able to do, but that is not allowed.

  2. Post production during quality check some defect was found and for same some increment operation and material is required to correct, how can I add this cost in cost of Goods Sold for that SKU?

Hi there …any update on this pls. This is really important from our business implementation

Lets say during production, it was found that a new operation (e.g.
buffing has to be done in particular case) step and/or material (new
blade -consumable) is required for same just for this sku. How can I
attribute for same. Ideally by being able to add operation step and
material in particular production order, should be able to do, but that
is not allowed.

You can create multiple Timesheet against a Production Order.

In the Stock Entry of Manufacture, you can also add additional charges.

Once item has been manfactured, you can update it’s COGS via Stock Reconciliatin only.

Thanks for your revert really appreciate it!
