Adding new view types

Hi There,

I’d like to create a few custom view types for my custom app (like some graphs / charts), over and above the standard desk views such as list view, query report etc.

Is this possible, and if so, is there a guide on how to accomplish this?

@dev_za It is possible, unfortunately we dont have any documentation on this. You will have to dig into the code. Check the Asset doctype for a start.

Thanks - would the Page doctype (with custom JS) not be the preferred way to implement this?
