Adding images to work orders

hi how does one set the work order to show images? in our line of work images are required at almost every step.

You can attach images to any doctype including work order doctype. User can open the same from work order.

images have been uploaded to item masters. When sales orders and work orders are being created from there, it is showing as a blank. attaching a snapshot to explain my problem.

I can’t seem to figure how to get the images to show.
