Add extra fields Serial no. form

Via the Customize Form section, I added a new field to the Serial no. form to enter additional details for each serial no.:

However, the field doesn’t show up on the form itself:

What am I missing?

Have you tried to reload (Ctrl + Shift + R) after you made the change?

@Pawan, did it on a local installation, restarted bench, still doesn’t show.

Bump, anyone got any idea? I need to add extra information alongside serial no. on purchase and sales invoice to indicate which specific product was sold.

@JayRam, if you can, please help me finish this before the month ends. This month marks the end of the first tax session of the year and I’d have no issue starting accounts with ERPNext starting from next.
