Valuation rate update

Hi
from where is the system fetching the valuation rate
is it from stock reconciliation
or
is it from item master
i have made a few errors in valuation rate at stock reconciliation
now i have updated the item to the latest valuation rate
will the system update the records to the new valuation rate

Hi,

It is item’s rate defined on the inward entry like Purchase Receipt,
Stock Reconciliation or Stock Entry (of type Material Receipt).

so in my case
updating the valuation rate in item master will not update the valuation rates of materials submitted thru stock reconciliation
if so, then what is the way around
i have around 60 items that needs to be updated with new valuation rate
should i do a stock reconciliation again
if so, then will it affect my stock entries
