Send email alert to owner of doc.reference_name on new comment

Hello,

I was able to send an e-mail alert on new comments using this template:

A comment was added to {{ doc.reference_name}}

Comment by {{ doc.sender_full_name }} for document ref #{{ doc.reference_name}}:



{{ doc.subject }}


Posted on: {{ doc.communication_date }}

See comment

This is pretty much what I need. The only problem is that I would like to send this email alert to the owner of doc.reference_name (the user who created the reference ie: Sales Invoice). Using “owner” or doc.owner sends an e-mail alert to the owner of the comment (communication owner) and not the doc.reference_name owner.

Any idea how to do this?

Found out that {{ doc.reference_owner }} would probably return the e-mail address I need, I still don’t know how to send the alert to this address…
