In sales Order when there are both stock and non stock items delivery is being tracked against non stock items as well which keeps the status of sales order as Overdue which should be Completed
For now, it doesn’t bypass with Delivery Status for the non-stock item. The idea is even if you are not actually delivering stock, but services has to be delivered/fulfilled as well. Once that is done, you can create a Delivery Note against it. If you are able to send enhancements on that front, we will be happy to assist you on the same.

We have this same issue except ours are all non-stock items. We need the ability to update the status of the sales order accordingly. The system is automatically applying status but it doesn’t work well for our needs.
