Please what software was used to create for example this ERPNext documentation diagram?
I know Dia basics and am curious about other tools options
Libreoffice Draw can do this
on my mac I use https://www.yworks.com/products/yed it is quite powerful, easy to use, and free

Indeed LibreOffice worked superb to duplicate the image, even the drop shadow if you seek ‘professional’ appeal 
The shadow key is Graphic Styles > Shadowing:
Another learning: To Export as a png and turn on/off the background, the Drawing Objects: Save Transparency checkbox is the answer.
