Is there a way to make a form that like a sales order or quotation gets saved per id and is searcheable but input to like a google form

So we have a sort of first info report on jobs coming into work on, this allows us to access job condition and this highlights all the potential services to complete upon a job to bring it to completion and is this is used to analyze the cost for a quote. We use a paper-based form for ease of use for workers and we scan them in once received and save in our archives but we would much prefer to use a digital form to input the data to erpnext and see it like quotations, this I understand requires a custom doctype which we are working on but we don’t understand how we could make a simple input form which doesn’t confuse workers too much.
