Help - Asset Account

Good night people,
I’d like some help. I inserted a fixed asset (tractor) on the assets tab.
I entered the value of the tractor in the asset tab, but this value is not being entered in the company’s account plan.
I suppose I could only calculate the depreciation. How do I get this value into my company’s asset account?

ERPNext: v10.1.64 (master)

Frappe Framework: v10.1.56 (master)

The ‘asset’ doctype defines a fixed asset and the corresponding depreciation entries against it. All the accounting details captured in the doctype do not affect the ledger directly from asset. For the value of asset to be reflected in balance sheet, you would have to make a purchase invoice linked to this asset.

And if have i already this asset? Is there any way to place this asset withou purchase?

Never used the Asset functionality but I see already there is a checkbox Is Existing Asset have u ever plaid with that thus far?
