do I run any risks by by running bench update --reset
It sets back to base installed apps.
All setting stays.
If you have no extra apps installed then it will not disturb, as far as my knowledge.
Please confirm developers team.
It simply resets the head of git to the latest commit in the remote upstream repositories.
Comes in handy if there were any uncommitted/unknown changes.
Any specific reason to use this?
yes I needed to use this as the bench update was not working
What’s the error in bench update ?
