Hi, guys i am new to erpnext.

Please help with API documentation or explain how these doctype system work. Try to google for tutorials and documentation but the information is fragmented.

Still unable to connect. Where are the logs located.

in the subdirectory ‘logs’ from where you run bench commands Bench start is showing errors can't open config file - #5 by clarkej

In case you use Postman or something similar (really helpful for playing with the API!):

Set up oAuth:
auth_type

get_new_access_token
get_new_access_token1920×1055 177 KB

Or, if you are on v11 or above, use token based auth, (Technical)

token_auth
token_auth1520×755 63.1 KB
